Linda Andersen was the mother of three children in Mississauga, Ontario, in 2003. She was an alcoholic and suffered from depression. Her daughters were fed up with her spending on alcohol since they wanted new clothes and a house with a swimming pool. They planned to murder her and use the internet to do so. Because they were juveniles at the time of the crime, their identities are protected by the Canadian Youth Justice Act.
