True Christian mission must flow from a deep, personal encounter with Christ. We must slow down and truly notice the "sights, sounds, and smells" of the faith during Holy Week. Without slowing down to experience His presence, all our "practical" efforts for the poor and the Church will ultimately be empty and ineffective.
