Some tips:

*Keep an open mind and an open heart

*Bring a notebook and pen or ask if you can record the reading

*Let go of expectations

*Jot down a few questions where you can ask the Medium (Most psychic Mediums will give time for questions)

*Don't try to trick the Medium with a codeword or phrase

*Be in an uninterrupted space

*Don't be driving, eating, or have other people around

*Ask and speak to your loved ones in your mind or think of them before the reading
