Naz Kawakami is a writer, editor, and photographer from Honolulu, Hawaii.

Naz is a screenwriter and cuts his teeth working in editorials. His work has been published in NPR, Rolling Stone, Jenkem, Popeye, Creem, among others. 

Naz is the new Editor-in-Chief of Monster Children, a Sydney/LA/NYC-based skateboarding/music/surfing/art publication that was founded in 2003. 

I found out about Naz from being the host of Monster Children's podcast, Analog to Digital: 20 years of Culture and Change, where he interviewed Leo Fitzpatrick, Spike Jonze, Austyn Gillette, and Ishod Wair.

This isn't the nine club. Naz has a cat named Meow Meow Beans.
