I know this time of year can be tough for those of us that struggle with body image. Society and diet culture has taught us that our value is in our looks and it's only appropriate to look a certain way. This can cause us to develop unhealthy habits with diet and exercise and mistake skinny for healthy.

While there are many reasons to improve your health, today I'm sharing 7 of my favorite that help keep me disciplined to take care of myself even when I don't feel like it. These are reminders that my health is what is most important...especially more important than the size of my jeans.
