Widely regarded as one of the most revolutionary horror films in cinema, John Carpenter's Halloween (1978) tells the story of Michael Myers, a young boy who commits sororicide and is committed to a sanatorium.

15 years later he escapes and returns to the suburban streets of Haddonfield to continue his murderous nature.

THCC discuss this film and the latest 2018 entry along with the key themes of conservatism, suburban horror, PTSD and the representation of evil.
