The Clarity Call

34. Interview with Dr. Brad Wilcox & his daughter Wendee Wilcox Rosborough

Listen Later

Dr. Brad Wilcox says, “If you can laugh at it, you can live with it.” In part one of our interview with Brad and and his daughter and Autism mom, Wendee, we hear Brad‘s motivation for writing the book “Hip Hip Hooray for Annie McRae,” which you can find a link to below, and hear him share how important it is to show up for ourselves in life and not rely on external validation. We then get to hear from his daughter, Wendee Wilcox Rosborough, who has an autistic nine-year-old son. She shares with us her experience of mothering him and the challenges she faces in her world as she navigates the thoughts and feelings associated with raising an autistic child.
