Stelarc is a performance artist who incorporates technology, robotics and prosthetics with his own body. He has used his body to house sculptures, suspended his body with hooks through his skin and allowed others to control his bodily movements through electrodes. He has even implanted a permanent artificial ear in his own forearm.
