34. This Game We Keep Playing

The wages of ‘otherness’, we don’t yet know.

But our shared future no longer comes slow.

Collectively what we are Becoming,

is how God falls

into form

like the snow.

God’s self-emptying love.

Living-water. The Cosmic-sea.

Evolving in and as, You and Me.

And currently ego-consciousness

is driving this planet to its knees.

Multiplying suffering and injustice by the little threes.

Trash… may end up the legacy left behind of Earth’s trees.

We all know the adage - “sex-sells”

But I think the powerful would now disagree.

Otherness sells better than sex.

The selling of pride and protections has all the grease.

Yet somehow, in the inevitability of Love

I still believe.

One day we will all take a knee.

But on earth, right now we’re all losing.

Because this game we keep playing is not free.
