Juliet tells Mike the story behind her own suicide attempt back in 2011. Her story had been told and used for narcissistic purposes by others and Juliet finally had enough. As a result she decided to write an article in 2018 titled, "Through the Looking Glass of a 5150" which told her story from her own perspective. Juliet talks about the events that led to that fateful day and how a temporary decision in a moment of crisis could have had a lasting impact on family and friends. She also talks about the article titled, "The Butterfly Effect" where she writes about the consequences of drastic choices. Both articles are available to read on the BrokenGirl Unchained site and were published in Healer's Magazine. Both Juliet and Mike are proponents of suicide prevention and letting people understand they they are not alone. If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, please use the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at: 1-800-273-8255.
