Luiz and I are friends for a decade. This talk, we explore not only his own journey with languages but also Brazil. Where do we come from? Where does our language come from? What puts Brazil (South America at all) on the map of the languages? What languages and cultures are connected? Is it really worth looking at the world as an European-centred world? In the second part, we try to find answers to these questions by comparing Roman languages, like Spanish and Portuguese, what have changed during the time and centuries, how Brazilian Portuguese is related to the indigenous groups language and where the theory of Japanese language's similarity comes into picture. So, again, after numbers, we are discussing linguistics. Enjoy! :))
