Porsche Pettiford celebrated 30 years with Marriott International in September 2023, and is well known for her strong relationships, breadth of knowledge and expertise in Hospitality, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Owner Relations.
In her current role as Vice President, Hotel Openings, Transitions and Operations Support Resources, she leads Marriott International’s US, Canada and CALA new build hotel openings processes, hotel transitions consisting of ownership, brand and management changes to existing operating hotels, and a large task force organization dedicated to filling operational leadership vacancies in operating managed and franchise hotels.
Her team is composed of 300+ full time and flex associates that on average open 350+ new build hotels, transition 400+ hotels and take in over 2,000+ requests for hotel operations task force annually.
