Conocido Internacional-mente por su lucha contra el APARTHEID sudafricano. Muere a las 95 años de edad. En 1963 fue encarcelado y permaneció 27 años en prisión. Desde allí, su reputación de líder creció rápidamente. En 1990 salió de la cárcel. Obtuvo el Nobel de la Paz en 1993 y fue electo presidente en 1994. El DESERTZION rinde tributo musical en Zoom95.
