The number 40 is a significant number in the Bible; it usually involves a time of waiting or testing.  Chuck points on in his book, that the number 41 is also significant.  For example, the people of Israel wandered the wilderness for 40 years and on Year 41, they entered the Promised Land.  Jesus was tempted and fasted in the desert for 40 days and on Day 41, He launched His ministry.  The breakthrough happens on Day 41 or Year 41.
