35. Accessibility Settings Developers Should Use in Their Tech and Games

Accessible technology started to become more common after the Disability Discrimination Act was signed into law, with Microsoft’s Windows 95 and Productivity Work’s pwWebSpeak starting the trend in the 90s.

As we moved into the 21st Century, Microsoft released Windows 2000, which came with an on screen keyboard.

In recent years, technology has grown even more accessible, even to the extent that disabled people are now able to play video games, and settings now exist for them to use keyboards and trackpads easier.

In this episode, I give suggestions on what accessibility options should exist to me technology and games even more accessible.
