When UConn was last in the Big East, Seton Hall wasn't much of a factor. The Pirates had consistently been a bottom five team in the conference and were rarely a serious threat to the Huskies throughout Jim Calhoun's tenure.
Yet when UConn returns to the league this winter, the Huskies will find a much different Seton Hall program waiting for them.
Adam Zagoria of NJ.com and Zagsblog.com joins the show today to talk about Seton Hall's remarkable rise from Big East afterthought to national contender. We cover the Pirates rise to prominence over the past seven years, last year's potential Final Four team and what fans can expect from Seton Hall this season. We also dive into the recruiting rivalry developing between the two northeast programs and cover some of the notable recruits that UConn will be chasing in the coming years.
