When UConn was last in the Big East, Seton Hall wasn't much of a factor. The Pirates had consistently been a bottom five team in the conference and were rarely a serious threat to the Huskies throughout Jim Calhoun's tenure.

Yet when UConn returns to the league this winter, the Huskies will find a much different Seton Hall program waiting for them.
