We have only a few Christmas traditions in our house, and one of them is a Christmas morning playlist to start waking everyone up, and it begins with "O Come O Come Emmanuel" - a cry for the presence of God, and ends with a song called "God with Us" - which is the Christmas story. Of God sending Jesus to earth to be the presence of God in flesh, to be Emmanuel, to be God With Us.
Let us take this week, and the rest of this Christmas season, to be still and be in awe of the amazing promised fulfilled by Christmas, that we get to live a life WITH God.
Let's be in prayer about the people in our lives who still need to know that they don't have to be alone, but that the presence of God is available to them, through the Savior King.
