In today's episode, I break down my opinion on the phrase "in moderation" which goes as follows - The term "in moderation" was created to justify activities or substances that are self-destructive. It encourages avoiding self-discipline almost altogether. It tries to promote finding a middle ground that allows for enjoyment while avoiding excessive behavior when in reality it's just another way to feel better about choosing poor habits. If you're ok with being average keep using the phase, if not, it's time to level up!
