When I was a kid, I remember telling people that my brother had a special syndrome... and without even seeing him people would automatically assume he had Down Syndrome -probably because it was one of the most well known syndromes in the 90’s. Did you know approx. 1 in 700 children are born with Down syndrome? 

Nowadays Autism has become more known because 1 in 54 children are being diagnosed. BUT did you know that a child could be diagnosed with BOTH Down Syndrome AND Autism? It’s called a Dual Diagnosis. In honor Down Syndrome Awareness Month we invited a special guest on the show to chat with us about her beautiful daughter who has this dual diagnosis.

We’re gonna ask her all the deep questions that people don’t usually get to ask... Lucky for us, she’s an open book!
