We did it! Through the trials & tribulations of our first conversation via sub-par wifi and separated by continents, Madiba and I finally sat together in Toronto.

How do continue to lead a legacy? Madiba is the great-grandchild of the giant of history, Nelson Mandela. He is descended from a long line of diplomats and like his predecessor, clearly feels the weight of his people on his shoulders.

Madiba will go on to be a key diplomat in our changing world, I'm sure of it.
