When you speak about how you feel about what you went through as a child you begin to truly see the pain you are carrying around within you. You can begin the recovery process of emotional and psychological trauma by beginning to speak to those you trust about how the painful experiences in your childhood made you feel. No one can tell you what is trauma and what it is not. Trauma is subjective. Do NOT let anyone (wether Mother,Father, Sister,Brother, Spouse) gaslight you into feeling that your childhood experiences where something different than what you experienced them to be. They have not walked in your shoes. They have not experienced your consciousness. This is about YOU. What YOU experienced and felt, and possibly are still feeling if you make the connection.
