It's 6:30 p.m. and you've just managed to "help" the kids clean up the playroom. You dread this time of night because you know the next 60-90 minutes is the hardest part of your day. You're longing for your kids to go to bed peacefully, but there's a 75% chance either you or they will end up in tears throughout the bedtime process. You're longing for the day to be over so you can get some alone time. And, even if they don't realize it, they're probably longing for the exact same things that you are - peace and quiet so they can rest.
It's a constant battle. No two nights are the same. Sometimes the kids are asleep by 7:30, and other nights you find yourself sneaking out of their bedroom, finally, by 9:00.
What if I told you that you could have a predictable routine, where after 40 minutes or so, your little one is in bed. You can walk out of the room and move on with your evening. The night is still young. And, the best part? No one is left in tears!
