It is incredibly easy to assign blame to a team member.

But something I often to talk to business owners about, when they have had a negative team relationship in the past is about having a critical look at their place, as the business owner and leader in the relationship.

Understandably it is much easier to critically look at other peoples performance, outcomes and their part in the relationship than it is to dive into where we as the leader may have missed the mark on setting our team up for success.
