We don’t expect our human relationships to flourish through only head knowledge — only knowing about each other — so why would we expect our relationship with God to flourish like that?

I used to only seek to know more about God as if He were a divine specimen to be studied instead of seeking to know God more as a true friend.

In the midst of so much unknown right now, we can have perfect peace in knowing His nature, hearing His voice, and experiencing His presence.
