Daniel Z. Lieberman, M.D. is a professor and the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry at George Washington University. He studied the Great Books at St. John’s College and then went to medical school and did his residency training at New York University, learning psychiatry at New York’s famous Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Lieberman is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a recipient of the Caron Foundation Research Award.
