Michael Hillard is a professor of economics at the University of Southern Maine. His scholarly work focuses on macroeconomics, labor history, and the production of food under capitalism. He joins the pod to breakdown the current economic fiasco of Covid-19 induced mass unemployment, the federal government response, and what more should be done to fully remedy the situation.
