36. New Year... and Goal Setting

As we set out to plan for our content this year, we wanted to start with New Year, New You... but this might not be what you think.  More times than not the phrase is used for physical reasons… but let’s be honest, it’s way more than that.  It seems we are always trying to find ourselves or figure things out. 

We are both goal setters, and wanted to use this episode to chat through setting goals that are important to you. That can be in relation to your health, career, family, etc. 

There are so many ways to look at goal setting and progress in life, this is just ONE of those ways. Setting goals can help us move forward in life and prioritize what is important - it helps you organize what you want to focus on and what you want to achieve. It helps you to create a roadmap to get to your desired outcome. 

Goals can be big or small, and most importantly, they are whatever you want them to be. Setting the goal or intention allows us to work toward achieving things we truly want to accomplish. Remember we don’t have to live every single moment of our lives planned out. Allow for spontaneity and fun! Goals are a means to guide us to accomplishments and achievements. They are stepping stones and mile markers.
