We had the chance to talk with Ricky Singh, the guitarist of New York hardcore band Backtrack co-owner of hardcore label Flatspot Records. We talked about what the band has been up to since releasing "Lost in Life", recording & writing their new album, the idea and acceptance of progression in hardcore, and he also highlighted new releases from his label and others that we should be checking out. He is a very cool and down to earth guy who is very passionate about the hardcore scene and I highly recommend following everything he is involved with.
