On the evening of September 7th of 2020 fires rage throughout the west coast. In our corner of the Pacific Northwest the holiday farm fire was just starting. It was a deadly mix of devastating fire being pushed by winds reaching over 70 mph. as night fell the smoke had started to roll down the hill. We woke up the next morning to ash falling from the sky like snow, and there was a thick fog of smoke. It ended up burning just over 173,000 Acres.
