The Airborne Mind Show

#36 - Yoga For Athletes w/ Christina McGrath

Listen Later

In this episode, we have Christina McGrath. She is the founder of Swell Fit Living and when you take a look at her background, she has not only been involved as a participant but as a coach in snowboarding, mountain climbing, rock climbing, rowing, biking, surfing, she literally has been involved in all sorts of outdoor sports and endeavors.

She specializes in yoga for athletes. Her end goal is to obviously improve performance and decrease injury. She's also dealing with a variety of athletes that are not just limited to being inside the gym and so to see her kind of fit the puzzle pieces from yoga to helping somebody like a snowboarder or a surfer, where there's so much variability in the way that you're moving. It's really interesting.

We talk about yoga, the importance of breathing, her recommendations for people who struggled in the gym, and a lot more.
