Dreams and goals are cultivated. They don't become a reality over night. There are many reasons people hold their dreams close to their proverbial chest and that's where they stay. I held mine there for a while. Sometimes we know when the timing is right for something and other times we look for a sign. Other times it just slaps us in the face. March 13, this year, I was slapped in the face.  Five months later, Women Have Needs, Too! by LindaQ has become a reality. It was time for me to bring those dreams to the surface and give birth to what I have been holding on to for EIGHT YEARS!  Yet, eight years doesn't even tell the entire story. My whole life I have strived to lift up my fellow athlete, colleague, friend, loved one, stranger on the street or cashier at the local grocery store. The song by Elton John, Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me has always resonated with me. I've always been afraid that I would go through life not reaching my full potential. Afraid I would hold on to those dreams one day too long before working to make them a reality. Five months, eight years and a lifetime later, the dream is alive!
