Managing our emotions can be a very difficult thing to conquer.
But in today's episode I give you a simple yet powerful tool to get a jump start on understanding your emotions and how you can better equip yourself to handle the difficult ones and bring on more of the pleasant ones.
Get your journal ready!
Releasing not so good feeling emotions:
Stop and go inward
Ask yourself the following questions -
1. What am I feeling?
2. Where am I feeling it?
3. What does it feel like? Describe the sensation
4. What do I want instead?
5. How do I get it? (this is the hearts wisdom)
Expanding on those great feeling emotions:
Stop and go inward
Ask yourself -
1. What am I feeling?
2. Where am I feeling it?
3. How does it feel? Describe the actual feeling
4. Ask your heart to receive this emotion
5. Ask your heart to expand on this emotion so you can feel it more often.
