Today we look at the literal nature of the Eternal State found in Revelation 21 and 22. We can be confident that there is a time of eternal bliss in store for believers because the Bible makes this clear by the language that is used to describe it. John speaks of a city and its makeup using the same terms that are used to describe literal cities in other areas of Scripture. This hope should motivate us to live for the Lord today.
