Whose Crime Is It Anyway?

37. CONNECT THE DOTS: The Murder of Candace Stevens (New Brunswick)

Listen Later

The case of Candace Stevens is about a small town murder of a young Indigenous woman from New Brunswick, whose body is found on the side of a dirt road. Initially, police weren’t naming any suspects. But after a suspicious apartment fire, a gunman on the loose in a local Walmart, and a high-speed car chase, the case took a turn. And police were able to connect the dots - all because of someone else who witnessed every terrifying event. Even the murder.
Listen as Chelle and Lisa dive into the details of Candace's murder. BONUS: We discuss the Elisa Lam and Cecil Hotel documentary on Netflix, too!
