37. Creating a New Opportunity - Josh Mackay - Solar Launch

I’ve been thinking alot on how to create a new opportunity with our frameworks in our solar business. How can we present our offer in a way that hasn’t been done before, or find an area of our market that isn’t being served?
Solving a problem that people haven’t thought to solve yet, or didn’t think was possible to solve, and making it seem effortless.
It’s an idea I’ve been toying with since first reading Dot Com Secrets by Russel Brunson, and now watching Shark Tank, and also reading Play Bigger, and I’ve been notifications the common theme of the new opportunity. I’ve also been really paying attention to what types of opportunities the sharks frenzy for, and what flops.
A lot of the time it’s a really simple spin in something already being done, but the ever so slight shift of the problems it solves and the way that it solves it is what makes it a new offer. The bigger and more common/shared the problem, the more opportunity to solve that problem, and on a basic level that’s all we are really doing as entrepreneurs, is solving problems for people.
I’m starting to get a bit of a more well rounded approach of looking at our business, and it’s helped because I’ve started joining Facebook groups of relevant topics for my dream customers and looking at how they are thinking, and what problems are common for them.
