There are so many opportunities to get out and enjoy the last of the warm weather before the cold winter winds hit us. God spreads his palette of color all around us and we get to see the beauty that He provides for us each and every day. There are also many ways to spend time in our community, whether it is apple or pumpkin picking, harvest parties, or trick-or-treating. How do you like to gather together this time of year? 

We'll be diving into a little bit of the history of Halloween and All Hallow's Eve and how God has shown His light on it to drive out the darkness. Everyone needs to make their own decisions regarding whether to recognize Halloween or not and there's no judgment here. But it's important that our children understand our decisions as well as those of others so that they can approach this world and their friends with knowledge, respect, and truth and stand firm in what they believe. Let's dive in!
