37: Why the Dutch left lost the vote

The latest Dutch parliamentary election turned out to be an upsetting victory for the far right, while the Dutch left took a beating. Just this once we made an episode in English, to shed some light on last week’s election results and what it says about the Dutch political landscape in general. It’s time to drop our false (self-)image as a thoroughly progressive country.
