This week we take a deep dive into the phenomenal story of Jay York.

Jay was born and raised in Covington, KY by his beautiful mother - Michelle York. His mother has played a huge role in his life, as she is one of his biggest supporters. Until his later years of high school, Jay felt he never had a role model that every kid needs. Which is why he lives every day in his purpose by writing his own story.

Jay is a proud graduate of Holmes High School; upon graduating in 2017 he headed off to Lindsay Wilson College on a football scholarship. As a first generation student, college was a huge chapter in Jay’s story. After one year at LWC, Jay decided to transfer to Western Kentucky University where he just recently graduated with a double major in Criminology and Sociology.

Throughout his journey in life, Jay has experienced many lessons and he currently is using his voice to help others as a motivational speaker. In the meantime, Jay is an entrepreneur and is in the process of rebranding his clothing line.
