God is passionate for holiness and righteousness. We see that zeal as Jesus clears out the temple early in his ministry. Only with his help can I love God’s law as Christ does. Only with his help can I love the cross of Christ. Because I cannot keep God’s law, Christ did the unimaginable. He took the punishment for my law-breaking on himself and has given me peace.
