Shankar Lamichhane introduced stream-of-consciousness into Nepalese literature and is considered one of Nepal's foremost essayists of all times. With his lyrical prose and large repotaire of cultural references he has written essays that have stood the test of time and have provided to Nepali literature a way forward. Today I talk about his writings traits and his importance in literary world. I also recite an essay of his from one of the books I recently read.
