The new Jeremy Lin documentary on HBO Max takes a unique approach, devoting one minute per point scored by the New York Knicks phenom during the peak of Linsanity against the Los Angeles Lakers. It's an extremely tight and entertaining work that chronicles Lin's basketball journey, but is at its most interesting when it dives into what representation meant to Asian-Americans experiencing the breakout season of 2011-2012. The Big Lead's Stephen Douglas and Kyle Koster discuss a different kind of doc and why it worked so well.
