Peter Thompson is the performance director of the Spirit of Oregon club and is one of the world’s leading experts on coaching education. He’s been coaching for over 50 years and he worked for the IAAF for about 20 of those years. Peter believes very strongly that we need to move from knowledge-based coaching to competence-based coaching. We also touched on lactate dynamics, biokinetics, and what he calls the new interval training method.
