LLPs are separate legal entities; therefore, it is the responsibility of the Designated Partners to maintain a proper book of accounts and file an annual return with the MCA each financial year. LLP’s are regulated by the Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. All LLPs are required to endure compliances and file certain statutory filing with the Government every year. It is mandatory for an LLP to file an annual return in Form 11 and Statement of Account and Solvency in Form 8.
