Mia is someone who I have looked up to for most of my life, not only because of her position as a swim teacher (and manager) in my life - but someone who is so sure of themselves. Making a second return to university studying primary school teaching, Mia has discovered her passion for teaching in what has been a journey that was never expected. The both of us chat about her feelings surrounding her unconventional pathway towards finding her why, and the many pressures that younger people face in discovering their occupational endeavours.
