We know from Isaiah 26:3 that the promise of perfect peace (which we all need right now) rests on trust in God.

But you can’t trust someone you don’t know.

With my routine violated by this pandemic, I made a shocking discovery -- I had been trusting in my rituals to be the things that transform me instead of God’s very presence.

The rituals may have helped me get to know more about God, but in His presence I get to know Him more.
