she has no need to fantasize
all she has to do is open her eyes
and the ooze festers on her brow
the towel boy leans to briskly wipe
off what was not part of her contract

he has no worries
thank goodness
after pounding buckets of silly putty
with the lion trainers
he returns home, sore, waits 5 minutes to receive dinner
"how was your day at work sweetie?"
"the usual, really hard?"
