Session 389: The Intuitive Deep Dive
Welcome to a deep dive into the cosmic archives. We are looking at Session 389 from The Early Sessions, Book 8 of the Seth Material, recorded on January 3, 1968.
The Intellectual Wall and the Intuitive Breakthrough
The session kicks off with Jane Roberts (referred to by Seth as Ruburt) feeling a bit skeptical and looking for a "definite sign" that Seth is actually who he says he is. Seth, ever the observer of human nature, points out that the brain is often the last part of the person to get the memo.
Psychic Detective Work: The Case of Blanche Price
Much of this session feels like a psychic "cold case" investigation. Jane had recently received file cards from the estate of a deceased friend, Blanche Price, and Seth decided to provide some corroborating evidence to prove his identity.
The New Game Plan: Theory and Practice
As Jane’s personality begins to "rock the boat" and ask for more proof, Seth is more than happy to oblige, seeing it as a sign that the "egotistical Ruburt" is finally ready to join the adventure.
By the end of the session, Jane reported feeling quite nervous—probably because having a multidimensional personality promise to show up in your living room is enough to make anyone a bit twitchy.
