• Seth describes Blanche’s room as being "predominantly blue, light blue, and pink," noting that file cabinets were tucked away under other furniture.
• He reveals that letters from Ruburt were not destroyed but were tucked away in a strongbox that had been overlooked by the current executors.
• Seth identifies a specific moment of regret from a Saturday afternoon on November or December 2nd, 1938 (or stemming from 1938), involving a heated argument between Blanche and her friend Anne Healy.
• The argument was sparked by a man—likely Blanche’s father or a relative—and occurred near "the supper hour, and in a dining room or restaurant."
• The argument was intense; Blanche apparently said something along the lines of: "When I’m dead you’ll be sorry."
• Seth emphasizes that the word "freedom" was a key theme—specifically freedom from a specific situation through death.

The New Game Plan: Theory and Practice

As Jane’s personality begins to "rock the boat" and ask for more proof, Seth is more than happy to oblige, seeing it as a sign that the "egotistical Ruburt" is finally ready to join the adventure.

• Seth observes that Ruburt has gained significant control over his physical body through his recent difficulties, which will actually allow the "spontaneous self" more freedom during sessions.
• The plan moving forward is to resume a regular two-session-per-week schedule.
• One session will focus on whatever Ruburt has on his mind (the "personal stuff"), while the other will be strictly dedicated to "theoretical material."
• For the more experimental sessions, Seth suggests using a specific area of the room by the large windows, involving a candle protected from drafts.
• Seth even hints at future visual appearances, stating: "In this case Ruburt shall see me also. Then with his full cooperation we can really begin our work."

By the end of the session, Jane reported feeling quite nervous—probably because having a multidimensional personality promise to show up in your living room is enough to make anyone a bit twitchy.
