In 2013, our host was fortunate enough to play Harold Matthews for the Parramatta Eels, a team that had won the U’16s Harold Matthews Cup, followed by the National Championship a week later. For Josh, this was the start of his new journey of discovering the true beauty behind personal development and building resilience. During his season, there was one particular man that supported him in his journey.

Josh speaks with a man who has impacted his life over the course of his teenage years playing through the rugby league representative system, Chris Hutchison. Nicknamed “Hutcho”, He has many accolades under his belt, winning over multiple premiership across many different age groups respectively through the rugby league system.

In this episode, Josh has a long awaiting conversation with his Under 16’s Harold Matthews Coach. Hutcho touches on his upbringing, growing up with hard working parents and his two brothers. Adding on, he shares the process of him entering into coaching, followed by his heart behind coaching people, not just in rugby league, but across many other sporting avenues.
