About Dr. Tim Earley:

Dr. Timothy Earley obtained his B.S. in Biology from the University of Scranton in 1994.
He then obtained both a B.S. in Visual Science and a Doctorate in Optometry from the
Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1998. After graduation, he joined the Medina
Vision and Laser Centre, where he served as a therapeutic optometrist until December
2020 when he joined Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons. He spent 23 years as the vice
president/secretary of Medina Vision Centre and was the director of human resources.
Dr. Earley has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of age-related
macular degeneration (AMD), dry eye and ocular surface disease, co-management of
cataract and refractive surgery, and the fitting of multifocal and specialty contact lenses.
Reflecting his commitment to public health, Dr. Earley is the Clinic Director of the Bright
Eyedeas Vision Clinic. At Bright Eyedeas, high school students enrolled in the optical
technology/visual sciences program work with Dr. Earley to provide no-cost eye
examinations and eyeglasses for patients in need. He also participates in InfantSEE, a
public health program designed to ensure that vision care becomes an essential part of
infant wellness.

Dr. Earley is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio
Optometric Association. He is also a national speaker and consultant in the areas of
specialty contact lenses, macular degeneration, and practice management. He is a
consultant for Alcon and a member of the Practitioner’s Visiting Alcon (PVA) faculty. Dr.
Earley serves as a KOL for Notal Vision, and is currently on the Speaker Bureau and is
a KOL for Maculogix and MacuHealth. Dr. Earley has been published in Optometric
Management, Advanced Ocular Care, and Review of Optometry, and is a COPEapproved continuing education lecturer. He currently contributes a Business Strategies
column for Optometric Management and serves on its editorial advisory board.

When not seeing patients or consulting with industry partners, Dr. Earley enjoys
spending time with his wife, Dr. Andrea Earley, and his three children. He enjoys the
outdoors, hiking, golfing, and gardening. He has a small flock of chickens and hopes to
expand his hobby farm in the future.
