George "Wildcat" Wilson was an absolute beast on the football field, first for Everett High School (He was born in Everett in 1901) and then the University of Washington Huskies (from 1923 to 1925).
During his 3 seasons with UW, the team went 28-3-3, and made two appearances in the Rose Bowl. He never quite made it into professional football at the time since he left UW in 1925 and there weren't all that many pro teams to choose from. He died alone and pretty broke, working as a longshoreman in 1963.
One could easily argue that Wildcat was the best football player to ever suit up for the Huskies.
